reCAPTCHA

What is reCAPTCHA?

reCAPTCHA protects WebLINK hosted payment forms from SPAM and bot abuse. Using reCAPTCHA on the payment forms reduces the risk of fraudulent transactions on the merchant’s eCommerce sites by performing a Completely Automated Public Turing Test to Tell Computers and Humans Apart (CAPTCHA) test to tell humans and bots apart.

If you have ever filled out a form and was asked to retype some combination of distorted letters and numbers that was hard to read, then you used a CAPTCHA to identify yourself as human. The problem with that implementation is that they can be hard to read. BridgePay has opted for a better solution to secure it’s payment forms through Google’s implementation, reCAPTCHA. During the payment process when the cardholder is ready to submit their purchase, the cardholder simply checks the box “I’m not a robot” and the transaction is submitted.

Key Features of reCAPTCHA
